The other day I was cleaning out my closet (5 bags FULL of clothes) and Dan comments to me that I am NESTING? What in the heck does that mean? So I go to the handy internet and looky what I find...
The nesting instinct is the name given to the distinctive urge to clean, tidy, and organize that occurs during pregnancy. One of the many pregnancy symptoms that you will experience, the nesting instinct generally kicks in around the fifth month of pregnancy, however it can also occur much earlier or much later. Nesting tends to vary from woman to woman; in fact, some women don’t experience the nesting instinct at all when they are pregnant. Others experience mild forms of the instinct while others feel the urge much more severely.
I guess he was right...I am nesting!

Picture it: 8 1/2 month pregnant Tara washing walls, cleaning blinds, and organizing, organizing organizing. And just getting things organized wasn't enough, it had to be organized AND cute, I bought a million wicker baskets, so the organized items would look nice behind the cleaned closet doors. It is a crazy phenomenon, but it definitely happens!
OMH I can't believe you are as big of an Austen fan as me! And it sounds like you're an Anne (with an e) fan as well, so we are definitely bosom sisters! Austenland rejuvenated my Mr. Darcy & Mr. Knightly obsession. I pulled out all my Austen DVD's and have been watching them this afternoon. I'm definitely up for a two weekend Regency getaway, just tell me where to sign!
Patrice,
I know you have probably already checked, but I keep getting worried that there was that crib recall. Here is the link from the Parent's Magazine.
