FiReWoRkS 2008
We had a FABULOUS July 4th.
Thursday night we went up to Eaglewood and watched the fireworks with our friends. I LOVE fireworks, so this is always exciting for me. I think my friend Andrea and I have been going up to Eaglewood for about 7 years now. It is our little tradition and now we get to take our husbands. I love it. Next year we will both have babies...Crazy!!!
Friday we got up early to meet Dan's family at 7AM for breakfast and the parade in Centerville. Dan's family has been doing this tradtition for years, so it is a fun time with family. All the nieces/nephews get a ton of candy, because Uncle Dan is always screaming "Throw candy to the BIG KID." Everyone laughs and tosses a ton of candy in our direction. The breakfast was delicious and they even had ketchup this year...you have to have ketchup with hash browns, right? I don't really like getting up so early on a holiday, but being with family makes it totally worth it. I love this tradition. And the parade is super close to our house, so we can walk...prime location! Friday night we went to a BBQ at Ed's (Dan's brother) house, watched a movie with the kids, and watched more fireworks at Lagoon. Hooray for more fireworks. Katy and I loved the fireworks!!!
I love living in America for the opportunity and freedom it brings. We are so blessed. I love the 4th of July...Fireworks, Parade, BBQ's, Family & Friends!

Hi! I'm Tara's friend (I get bored sometimes and look at links from my friends blogs) and I saw this entry and thought- well I guess they must live in Centerville! I used to live in the Fujikawa's ward- I doubt they would remember me and my husband Tyler, but do you live in that ward currently? My grandma lives there too...plus you are a Jane Austen fan so I know you are awesome! Plus plus I think we can agree that Tara is the coolest person ever!
: )
