Good friends...
This weekend my good friend Celine and her husband Antonello came to visit us. I met Celine 12 years ago while I was serving my mission in New York (okay, so I totally just gave away my age). She was one of my mini-missionaries while I served in NYC. We have stayed in contact and throughout the years I have had the opportunity to take her to Ricks College for her Freshman year and to take her into the MTC to begin her mission on Temple Square. I love that we have stayed in contact and remained such good friends. In 2003 I went to New York with some friends to ring in the new year at Times Square. I then had the chance to see Celine and to meet her fiance, Antonello. He is from Sardinia, Italy. They got married 3 years ago and moved to Italy. Recently they have moved back to the states and this weekend we got to see them and they finally got to meet my husband, Dan. They stayed with us Friday and Saturday and we had so much fun talking with them and catching up. I love Celine's New York accent and her husband's Italian accent. We took them to Costco on Saturday and it was funny noticing people hear their accents. They are deciding if they should come to BYU for a Law program for Antonello. I think they are coming in August and I am so excited. Celine is a dear friend and someone who I really look up to. Thanks for a great weekend with old friends.
