A Valentine for Patrice

My Sweet Patrice,

I want to take this opportunity to say just how much I love you and express a small portion of how I feel about you.

You are the love of my life and continual inspiration. I have no idea where I would be in my life if you weren't part of it, but I can guarantee that I would not be as happy as I am with you.

Thank you for always helping me. From homework help when I was in school to resumes and applications when I was job hunting, I couldn't have done it as well or successful without you.

I love waking up next to you (unless it's because you wake me up for snoring too loud, but even then it's not so bad).

I love seeing you as a mother. You are so patient and wonderful with Harrison. I have a lot to learn from you. I know that Harrison is as smart as he is because of you, in spite of what you may think.

I love that you laugh at my stupid jokes. Well, most of them anyway.

I love your smile and the laugh that goes with it.

I love that you research things before making decisions. It has probably saved us a lot of grief by taking a little extra time instead of making a hasty decision, which I am prone to do.

I love how smart you are with money.

I love that you let me pick the movie most of the time. I also love that a lot of the movies you choose that I don't think I will like turn out to be great.

I love what we've accomplished together in the last 6 years.

I love that you are social.

I love how beautiful you are.

I love that we get to carpool into work every other week.

I love how you get me to try new things.

I love that we have traveled so many places together.

I love you.
