At lunch today, Dan was mocking me about how everything in a nursery has to be color coordinated. For example, you can't have a navy recliner in an all girl pink nursery. He thinks this is silly. Than I remind Dan of his mild obsession with his movies. Dan LOVES movies. Love isn't even the word to describe Dan's passion for movies. He would watch 10 movies a day if he could. His dream job would be a movie critic. He idolizes Ebert and just loves movies in general. What else can I say? We have quite a collection (I don't even dare count, but I know it's over 400). Dan alphabetizes our movies and will do this alomst as frequently as we get new movies. He keeps a list (on our computer) of our movies in alphabetical order and will color code them once he has watched a movie. He even puts out his own top 10 movie list every year. It is cute! Oh, random side note, if you want to "check out" a movie, he will only loan you two at a time and will write it down. He will come and find you if you don't return the movie in a timely manner. He will literally throw away a movie case if it isn't just like the cases at Hollywood Video or like the movies you buy at the stores. If it is a case from Blockbuster, forget about it...it is trashed! He is passionate about his movies.

Isn't it funny how we all have a weird obsessions! Oh, how I love my danny boy!

Dan needs a job as a movie critic. He needs to join the movie show on KSL on Fridays!

I was able to watch FIVE movies on Sunday with a friend (she introduces me to ones I have never heard of)...yes, I alphabetize my movies as well...however I don't have them listed on my computer which would be a good idea as I have bought a second copy of at least six movies and then I either have to return them or find someone else who would enjoy them as well.

Hmmm, I would think you could put a navy blue chair in a pink room...but obviously I am not a decorator...if it looks good and makes me feel good...it works! And of course, anything goes with cat hair! LOL!!!

yeah...I remember when we borrowed "Invincible" from Dan last year. He wouldn't let us back in your house until we showed him we had his movie with us to return "in a timely manner!" He's so funny!
