Moose, Bear, and Elk Ranch

This past weekend we went with some friends to their family cabin in Idianola (have you heard of it? Me neither). It was nice to get away and escape to the mountains. The cabin is owned by their grandfather, and he is an avid hunter. You walk in and there are animals everywhere: elk, caribou, moose, bear, cougar, and even a big horned sheep! It is really amazing. We made some good grub, did a little hiking, played Monopoly (guess who won) and watched movies. Thanks JaNell and Rob! We look forward to doing it again. The closest I will ever get to a MOOSE!
The bear was so soft...Dan loves Bear hugs!

Potty Time

When we were heading home we decided to stop by JaNell's family Elk Ranch in Santaquin. Here is Dan feeding the Elk.

Elk are so big and majestic

Hey our Stake property is in Indianola so I have been there many, many times! It is a beautiful area. Loved the pictures - tell Dan he can come and get a bear hug anytime he wants at our house. We have a bear rug on our wall too - Ray got it in Idaho a year ago in March - it is cinnamon colored and very, very soft!
