Day at the movie

We were like the millions of other people and saw The Dark Knight this past weekend. Dan and I decided to watch Batman Begins Friday night and like always I fell asleep (I blame this on being pregnant), so lucky Dan got to see several of the scenes multiple times. Thanks Dan for always being willing to rewind the movie. Anyways, we made it to The Dark Knight and of course it was sold out. We had gotten our tickets online on Tuesday and had reserved seating. I think this is the one time that Dan actually liked the reserved seating. We saw a preview for the new James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, which comes out in November. I looked at Dan and said, "So sad we won't be able to go." He looked perplexed and asked why? I said, "because we will have a new baby." His response was, "your mom can babysit." Haha! I think that will become a very common statement.....

Anyways, the movie was GREAT and I am sure it will be joining our collection soon. It's so fun going to the movies with Dan because he get so excited in the movies. He is like a kid at Christmas time. His eyes get big, mouth open, jumping in his seat with excitement...it's entertaining just watching him. It has also become Dan's favorite movie of the year!

I think Dan would make a great movie critic.........maybe he should pursue that career instead of President?????

Thanks for taking Emily to camp with you!

Charlie thought the movie was GREAT too. He thinks Heath Ledger's performance is Oscar worthy and feels like he stole the show.

Charlie also really like Ironman which surprised him, because he doesn't really care for Robert Downey Jr.

He thought the stunts, graphics and storyline were awesome in both moives.

I imagine we will be owners of both films the minute they hit the store shelves...I know you can relate! :)

Oby loved this movie too! I, however, was home with Chloe. So here's a life lesson for ya, mark and remember, get your baby-sitter all lined up before the baby comes so you don't have to miss out on the blockbusters! Oh, and along those lines, definitely take advantage of Netflix - but you already knew that! We just watched 21 on video - loved it.
