Dan's Oscar Picks

I dont' post very often, but when I do it's usually important. So here are my 2007 Oscar predictions with a margin of error of +/- two. I only chose the most important categories. See if you can out guess me. I dare you!

Best Actor-Daniel Day-Lewis in There Will Be Blood
Best Actress- Marion Cottillard in La Vie En Rose
Best Supporting Actor-Javier Bardem in No Country For Old Men
Best Supporting Actress-Amy Ryan in Gone Baby Gone
Best Director- Coen Brothers for No Country For Old Men
Best Film- No Country For Old Men
Best original screenplay- Juno
Best adapted screenplay- No Country For Old Men
Best Animated Feature- Ratatouille
Best Cinematography- Atonement
Best Film Editing- No Country For Old Men

I like your upset predictions and wish I had the guts to pick Cotillard- she was AMAZING. I still think the lifetime acheivment award will go to Julie Christie though. And nice job picking Amy Ryan- I think you may be right about that upset. Do you think 'Michael Clayton's' 23rd hour rally can get it the screenplay award away from 'Juno?'

Pretty impressive Dan! I think you only missed 3 of them but hit the biggies!! I think you watch too many movies...when do you have the time??? Maybe you should pursue a career as a movie critic!!!
